Switchur Privacy

We know that you care how your information is protected, and we appreciate your trust that we do so sensibly.

What is covered by this Privacy Policy

This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) describes how we treat identity information that is acquired and which customers provide to us in connection with the creation and administration of accounts through our websites and user application (“Switchur Sites”), which we refer to as “Personal Information”. For example, Personal Information includes names, email addresses and other identity data associated with a Switchur Sites customer account. Personal Information does not include information that is anonymized, nor does it include corporate information that relates to an organization but not to an individual, such as a corporate name, corporate address or general corporate contact information.

In addition to the Personal Information you provide to us, whenever you visit or interact with Switchur Sites, we may collect or store information about your Switchur Sites interaction (“Usage Information”). This Usage Information may include:

  1. your IP address or any other unique identifier assigned to the device that you use to access the Switchur Sites;
  2. the functionality and characteristics of your device, including type of browser, operating system and hardware, mobile network information and in some cases location information;
  3. the URL that referred you to the Switchur Sites, if any;
  4. your activities on Switchur Sites, such as which web pages you visit, what terms you searched within Switchur Sites and which links within the Switchur Sites that you click on; and
  5. the time of day that you visited the Switchur Sites and how long your visit lasted.

“Data Processor” means a third party that processes Personal Information on behalf of and pursuant to our instructions. This Privacy Policy applies to customers’ Personal Information and does not apply to the automation content that customers store on Switchur Sites. We will not disclose, move, access or use automation content except as provided in the customer’s service agreement (“Terms of Service”).

See your Terms of Service agreement for more information about how we handle automation content you store on Switchur Sites.

How Switchur Sites uses Personal Information and Usage Information

We use the information that we collect to operate and maintain our Switchur Sites, send you marketing communications, respond to your questions and concerns and to help our partners improve their online offerings (we may share non-personally identifiable information such as anonymous usage data, platform types, number of clicks, etc). We do not rent or sell your Personal Information to third parties for their marketing purposes.

Cookies and Third Party Services

A cookie is a small text file that is stored on a user’s computer for record-keeping purposes. We use both session ID cookies and persistent cookies on Switchur Sites to optimize visitor experiences. A session ID cookie expires when you close your browser. A persistent cookie remains on your computer or device for an extended period of time.

Switchur Sites use third party services including Google Analytics and Amazon Web Services, to collect information about how visitors use Switchur Sites. Google Analytics uses cookies in order to track visitor page views and clicks within pages, length of time spent on Switchur Sites, and the search term or referring site that brought a visitor to Switchur Sites.

Switchur Sites include features from social media websites Facebook, Google, and Twitter. These features may collect your IP address, which page you are visiting on our Switchur Sites, and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly. Social media features are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on Switchur Sites. This Privacy Policy does not apply to these features. Your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy statements and other policies of the companies providing them.
